Narrative comes in many forms such as books, poems, films or even music. There are a variety of narrative out there to use and alter, but where do I start? I have a few ideas:
- Creating new narrative using different films – two separate characters from different films having one conversation
- Build a narrative around a background character in a film – could build a whole life and story for them
- Use photographs to build a narrative – change the original narrative of a photograph
- Bring 2 different narratives together to form one cohesive story – 2 separate books perhaps
- Using film quotes to create conversation – random or a mash up of films?
- Altering descriptions of photographs to change the narrative
- Layering film negatives to form a new narrative from 2 separate images
- Dubbing over a quote from one film using a quote from another film
- Putting text on/under/around an image
